A year-round resort encompassing 440 acres of pristine wilderness nestled in a 250,000 acre state recreational park,Chena's world-famous resort offers plenty of winter fun.
The 1914 lodge, built out of local logs, is still in use as the lounge, lobby and gift store. The Moose Lodge was added in 1980.

Swim or just relax in the natural outdoor hot springs, try one of 35 different massages, or take a tour of the Aurora Ice Museum.
For the more adventurous, there are dog sled rides and kennel tours, guided snowmachine rides, or a horse-drawn sleigh ride through the snow.
And if seeing the Aurora is your desire, the resort offers guided snow coach Aurora Viewing Tours, an Aurora viewing dog sled tour, and cross-country ski rental for getting out and viewing on your own.

The Aurora Ice Museum gallery features an ice tower, jousting knights on horseback, a polar bear bed, life-size igloo, and amazing works of ice art.

A world-class museum located in the heart of Alaska’s largest city, the Anchorage Museum at Rasmuson Center is the largest museum in Alaska and serves as a cultural center for the community and state. Day tour includes admission to the Museum and 10% off gift shop purchases.

Highlights
Alaska Gallery: This 15,000 square-foot gallery devoted to Alaska's history is located on the museum's second floor. The Alaska Gallery displays more than one thousand objects and is the finest presentation of Alaskan history and ethnology in the state.
Art of the North: The Anchorage Museum Association has a wide-ranging collection of art that reflects Alaska and the circumpolar North. Seven galleries on the Museum's ground floor are devoted to this collection.
