Chena Hot Springs Resort
Chena Hot Springs is 100 years old. Located 60 miles northeast of Fairbanks, Chena Hot Springs became famous for curing crippled prospectors of their aches and pains as long ago as 1905.
Chena Hot Springs Resort is world renown for being one of the best places on Earth to see the northern lights. It is located under the most active band of northern lights, it is away from the light pollution of the city, and the skies over Chena are clear more often than those over Fairbanks, just 60 miles away.
Although Chena Hot Springs provides transportation to and from Fairbanks, it is not included in the Fairbanks hotel category.
