PUBLIC HEARING SCHEDULE / PUBLIC COMMENT DEADLINE
The Alaska Railroad, in concert with the Department of Environmental Conservation (ADEC), held a series of public hearings in communities located along the railbelt from Seward to Fairbanks. The public was invited to attend a public hearing to provide public comment and learn more about the Alaska Railroad's vegetation management program and the permitting process regulated by the ADEC.
Public hearings were held from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Hearings started with a brief presentation, followed by public comment. The following is a list of scheduled public hearings that were held :

To be considered, written comments must be submitted to the Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation (ADEC) Pesticide Program at the address noted below, and must be received on or before November 13, 2006. More information on the public comment process can be found at the ADEC website at:
